I Work primarily as a film and TV lighting technician: Gaffer or Spark and had a background in camera work and photography.
I am a fully qualified electrician with 17th edition (soon to be updated to 18th), part p and 7909-3 temporary systems.
I enjoy working on television and commercials, as well as independent productions, working with up and coming DoPs.
I have gaffered countless independent shorts, music videos, web series, numerous corporates, commercials and worked on TV commercials and TV shows including Master Chef, The Apprentice, Mary Berry, and Dickinson's real deal
and other shows broadcast on BBC, ITV, channel 4 and sky.
I began with shooting events, weddings, festivals gigs and shows. Over this time I have been developing style technique and understanding of how to create, craft and control light to tell a story as well as develop skills in working with and managing teams on set.
After studying BSC media production at university I freelanced as a photographer for a few years and spent some time as a radio producer and events organiser before specialising in video film and lighting.
